"HOW MY GARDEN GROWS" Colored
pencil on Arches cover black, Approx. 33" x 34". © 1992 I wish I'd never
sold this piece! Where most of my tulip drawings are about leaves and
spaces, "Garden" suggests a vanguard of blooms looming forward,
out of the dark. The drawing was suggested by a bed of tulips growing
by City Hall in Alexandria, Virginia.
